Amazing Healthy, Low-calorie Snacks to Help you Lose Weight

When it comes to losing weight, there are diet foods that you should have always handy with you, or available at home. They will help you fill up on something healthy, and low-calorie, and resist the temptation to eat something that you should not eat.

1.       To get a low-calorie energy boost, eat rich in solid protein and minerals boiled eggs. What is more, eggs are a powerhouse of disease-fighting, and brain and memory enhancing nutrients like lutein, zeaxanthin, and choline.

2.       Snack on delicious hummus and veggie sticks (carrot and celery are ideal). The fiber in them is very filling.

3.       Drink a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice with a couple of spoons of chia seeds thrown in it. It will fill you up without adding a lot of calories to your diet.

4.     When you are craving something sweet, have some natural yoghurt, Greek yoghurt is ideal. It will fill you up, and even prevent your body from absorbing fat. Besides, yoghurt can give you flat abs. It’s loaded with vitamins, and good for you bacteria.

5.     Quinoa is one of the healthiest diet foods there is! It’s not just loaded with fiber and minerals, but it also has a healthy dose of protein as well. It’s very filling, and you can eat a whole lot of it without worrying much about the calories.

6.       Sprouted, all natural grain bread is a very healthy diet food , and contains a lot more nutrients than baked wheat.

7.      Go nuts! They are nature’s way of showing us that good things come in small packages. These bite-size nutritional powerhouses are packed with heart-healthy fats, protein, vitamins, and minerals-an amazing healthy weight loss diet food! Nuts will help you feel full and suppress your appetite. The lowest-calorie nuts are almonds, cashews, and pistachios. Eat them raw, or dry roasted. Walnuts are the best nuts for your heart.

8.      Salsa – Enjoy it with hummus and veggie sticks (sorry, no tortilla chips!)

9.     And last, but not least – Parmesan cheese. It is not just incredibly delicious, but fairly low in calories, and very filling. Dr.Oz suggests sprinkling it on salads for a delicious filling, low-calorie snack.
